Since 1996, David H. Lee & Associates, Inc. (DHLA) has provided geotechnical engineering, geology, and soil testing services for a broad spectrum of clients throughout southern California. Our firm has built a reputation for design excellence, and our professionals remain committed to offering the highest quality services available in the geotechnical industry. DHLA professionals have played a central role in the geotechnical design and construction of numerous commercial/residential development and infrastructure projects, and have provided expert geotechnical services for hundreds of litigation and insurance claims arising from structural damages caused by geotechnical and geologic hazards. The DHLA client base includes private developers, property managers, engineering firms, insurance companies, law firms, and local government agencies. DHLA currently performs peer reviews for the State of California Board for Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors, as well as third party reviews for the California cities of San Juan Capistrano and Malibu. Our staff includes professionals with over 90 years of relevant experience, and is comprised of civil engineers specializing in geotechnical engineering, geologists who specialize in the application of the geologic sciences to engineering problems, and field/laboratory technicians. Members of our staff have professional licenses in the fields of civil engineering, geotechnical engineering, and engineering geology in the State of California.
